Plans, trials, and restore
This guide describes the subscription-enabled phone release. Store preparation is not a public release; earlier distributed versions can show the previous free-export allowance. The installed app and store confirmation show the available offer.
Access before setup
Section titled “Access before setup”On iPhone and iPad, users without access see a mandatory paywall before setup. Start an eligible trial, subscribe, buy Lifetime, or restore an existing purchase. There is no local free-export allowance or dismissible first/third-export upsell in this release.
Plans and trials
Section titled “Plans and trials”Individual and Apple Family Sharing each offer weekly, yearly, and Lifetime access. Eligible subscriptions include a 7-day free trial, then automatically renew at the displayed price and interval. Apple determines eligibility; reinstalling or changing plans does not guarantee another trial. Lifetime is charged immediately once and has no trial or automatic renewal.
Family Sharing shares feature access with up to five other eligible family members, not health data or files. Google Play offers Individual access only. The Mac companion and F-Droid build include access without billing. Purchases do not transfer between stores.
Manage and restore
Section titled “Manage and restore”Manage or cancel through the purchasing Apple or Google account. For Apple subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends and follow the store confirmation. Deleting the app or buying Lifetime does not cancel an existing subscription.
Existing lifetime purchases and previously granted legacy access remain valid. Restore Purchase refreshes eligible store entitlements, not deleted files. Check Family Sharing settings if shared access is missing. A subscription alone does not qualify for the discounted Family Lifetime upgrade.
If access ends
Section titled “If access ends”New exports and setup require active access again. Existing files remain yours in the destinations you chose. After restoring access, inspect pending work and use the normal recovery path. Missing prices require a catalog retry; a store error does not grant access.
